Goodwill’s Latino Initiative Program

Established in 2009, the Latino Initiative was designed to provide job readiness, case management and placement services to the Latino population to help those in need obtain and sustain employment. Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc.’s Latino Initiative has placed over 150 people since 2009 from over 15 different countries, including: Puerto Rico, Cuba, Colombia, El Salvador, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Honduras, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Peru, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Argentina and Bolivia.

Interested persons can enroll with the Latino Initiative program in the following ways:

  1. Intake at Goodwill Headquarters, Fridays 8-11 am
  2. Scheduled appointments
